Welcome

Céad míle fáilte to Castlemorris House Bed and Breakfast, an 18th century Georgian house standing on mature gardens and looking across to the Slieve Mish mountains in the distance. The house has retained a lot of its original character and is furnished throughout with antiques.

Rooms

Our guest accommodation has four bedrooms – 2 large double rooms, a large triple room and one smaller double, all of which are ensuite, all tastefully and simply decorated. Guests have access to the drawing room where they may watch television, listen to the radio/music, all of which can be enjoyed in front of a welcoming fire in cold weather. In the summer, guests are welcome to sit in the garden to relax before they head out for their evening’s activities.

WIFI

WIFI is available for guests who have their own laptops with them.

Parking

Offstreet parking is available on our premises.

Breakfast

The breakfast menu offers a choice of good quality hot food, in addition to the selection of cereals, fruit, juices and home-made brown soda bread available from our buffet sideboard (see sample menu on the 'Menu' page)

Approvals

We recently ceased our membership of Fáilte Ireland (the Irish Tourist Board) for the simple reason that they would not include historic houses in their classification (star-rating) system. This does not mean that we do not maintain the highest of standards! We are members of Family Homes of Ireland, Georgina Campbell Ireland and feature in Elsie Dillard's "Bed and Breakfast Ireland" among other publications abroad..
